Over $50,000 Lindens Raised at our Virtual Haiti Relief Benefit Sunday

Sunday was a VERY full and exciting day as fluent media productions hosted our 10-hour extravaganza of great Second Life® musicians to raise money for Virtual Haiti Relief. This awesome cause brought out the best in the best. Someone said, give ’til it hurts, and by jove all you great folks did. $51,212 raised. 
We sure pushed the sim to the limits too. Avatars coming, going and coming back. I noticed many donated several times… how cool is that! Many also generously tipped the venue, so all of those tips were added to the Haiti Kiosk as well. I just love the outpouring of goodness from the people I meet in SL. Reminds me of a poem.
YOU ONLY GET TO KEEP WHAT YOU GIVE AWAY
It’s a universal law:
You have to give before you get.
You must plant your seeds before you reap the harvest.
The more you sow, the more you’ll reap.
In giving to others, you’ll find yourself blessed.
The law works to give you back more than you have sown.
