fluent media productions is the brainchild of Flimsey Freenote, Georgianna Blackburn & David Stone. Combining years of experience in the music industry, Flimsey & Georgianna felt an immediate synergy when first they met. fluent allowed these two dynamos to come together with a common love of art, music and immersive environments. David adds to the team, bringing his expertise with the cutting edge of research in the worlds of software and entertainment for many years.
In 2008, Deborha Patton (aka avatar Flimsey Freenote) and David Stone (aka avatar David Stone) created VRIT, Inc. (Virtual Reality Immersive Training). fluent media productions is a subsidiary of that collaboration. The partners in the firm added key team member Sandy Adam (aka avatar Georgianna Blackburn) in January 2010.

Deborah Patten, Managing Director, is perhaps the leading expert in the world today on the use of psychodrama in virtual worlds. She and David see music, video and drama as powerful instruments for positive change across the “real” and virtual worlds. Deborha has a deep understanding, based on experience, of the use of realistic Virtual Reality Immersive Environments to create deep and lasting internal changes in people; changes that are manifested in their real-world lives. All the DarkMatter team members are certified role-players in Virtual Reality (Second Life) and have worked with both mainstream and marginalized populations seeking to improve the quality of their lives. Deborha has been studying and participating in online communities for over 8 years.
David Stone
David Stone has a Ph.D. in psychology from Cornell University and was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard in Computer Science and has done funded research at Harvard and MIT on augmented reality and virtual reality environments. David also spent five years at Crawford Communications, Inc. in Atlanta long known for creative and technical excellence in high definition video technology, sound design, satellite communications and entertainment (www.crawford.com).
